She will check the pet’s stool for intestinal parasites. (If you bring in a stool sample in a plastic bag, this endeavor will be a little less pleasant for you, but a lot more pleasant for your pet.) He will also perform blood tests, checking the dog’s blood for heartworms and tick-borne diseases.
