The following questions will help you to think realistically about the consequences of acquiring a pet at this time in your life. Identify and resolve any red flags that are raised before you get a pet of any kind.
– A pet is ultimately the responsibility of the parents, not the child. If you don’t feel happy anticipation at the thought of getting a pet, perhaps now is not the time.
