Try to minimize their impact by using doors or baby gates to confine puppies to surfaces that are easier to clean. Clean the soiled area thoroughly so that the odor doesn’t encourage the animal to return to the spot the next time nature calls. Disinfecting also reduces your exposure to bacteria and parasites.
