If you decide that your dog or cat will reside indoors with you, there are a few things to remember. Pets need a private area to eat and rest away from household activities. They also need a quiet place to spend the night. If they don’t sleep on your bed, or couch, or rug, they need a comfortable bed of their own. And like your own bedding, it will need to be washed occasionally. Inside pets can be taught to respect boundaries set for them.
