Examine your dog closely for fleas and ticks after each visit to the park and treat accordingly. You don’t want to bring these pests home with you. You also don’t want to leave any fragrant evidence of your dog’s visit to the park. It’s polite to pick up after your dog if he just can’t wait to get home to go to the bathroom. Contamination of an enclosed area by parasite-laden feces increases exposure to intestinal parasites exponentially.
