You can put a daily ration of the kibble in the special bag and explain to the child that the bag contains all the “treats” the dog or cat is allowed to have in a single day. This is also a good lesson in moderation for your child. Another good snack comes from the freezer and breaks one of the cardinal pet food rules. Feeding dogs frozen vegetables breaks the no-table-food advice, but it’s a good exception to the rule.
